What is the Football Resurrection collectible trading card game?
The Football Resurrection collectible trading card game is simply great fun to play. It combines card collecting and trading with game play that requires strategy & skill. The game play is for two players aged 8 to 80 and because it a game that can be played in 10 minutes parents can understand it and can enjoy playing it too.
Players customize their own decks of footballer characters and then go head to head in a game of football. Through collecting uniquely designed footballer character cards, each with their own unique talents, players have a virtually limitless choice of strategies and tactics at their disposal and because the players' decks interact with each other no two games are ever the same.
The objective is to score more goals against your opponent than they score against you with victory depending upon your skill in both team selection and game play.
What do I need to start playing?
You will need some footballer character cards, a rule book and somebody to play against.
Football Resurrection is different to other trading card games in that pairs of cards are a good thing and will increase your chances of winning. To help you get playing quickly we have produced a Squad Starter Deck for you which contains everything you need to start playing with a full strength team, visit our SHOP for details.
You can improve your team and your chances of winning by buying booster packs of footballer characters, although a skillful player will still be able to win with even the most basic of decks if they are good enough. If you are hungry to land the star players, execute the most dramatic of combinations and score spectacular goals then the booster packs are the perfect way to improve your squad.
