Working for the Advanced Recuperation Division at Genetic Industrial Sports (G.I.S) Vorassi was part of a team of scientists researching severe sports injury recovery. Posted to G.I.S underground laboratories in Switzerland just 24 hours before the volcanic meltdown he survived the disaster unharmed. G.I.S declared itself neutral from the struggle for power that ensued. Vorrasi worked tirelessly to apply his knowledge to those injured by the natural disaster and increasingly the global conflict that followed. In 2096 he attended the Unification Match, in Paris, where 100,000 people rioted, leaving 30,000 dead. Vorrasi was caught up in the fighting and received multiple injuries. Nursed back to health by a colleague he used the underground Football network as a focus for his recovery. In his first full season he led Padova First, to the Italian Championship.
