When set in attack as the penultimate card before a shot is taken Gronko gains a total move attack bonus of 2000. Occurs once when move is activated. Aged 18 Gronko was the rising star and pin up boy of Portuguese football. Following the volcanic meltdown in 2088 and subsequent 10 year war he fought tirelessly against Military Republic forces to keep his home country free from military rule.

Decorated for valour on 4 occasions he was captured by republican forces in 2094 and held captive for 3 years until broken free by a rebel infiltration unit led by King Kong Bambi. To this day Gronko claims he can remember nothing of his time in captivity. He has been on the run ever since, drawn back into playing football in the Portuguese League as a means to earn money. Becoming desperate he had began to gamble on the outcome of the matches he played in. Abducted by unknown forces he now finds himself on the island.
