Having gone on to build a fortune in the Antiques business he lost everything as the economy crashed following the volcanic meltdown.

Deciding to travel he spent the next 10 years fighting for both localised rebel groups and Military Republic forces across north Africa and Asia. Ending up in New Zealand and growing ever more cynical he set to constructing his own yacht to live a life of solitude at sea. Whilst making final preparations to set sail the Yacht was seized by local rebels in their efforts to continue the struggle against the Military Republic. To infiltrate the rebels and track his yacht Le – Biglin entered the New Zealand underground football league where his reputation as a tough but fair player quickly grew. In the final preparations of stealing back his boat he was seized by unknown forces and subsequently found himself on the island.
